When you start your day feeling calm, positive and in control of your day, focus and concentration will come naturally. There are several ways to improve focus, plenty of which are easy to incorporate into your morning routine or perhaps can even be done at work.

The first step to better focus is simple: breathe. Focused breathing/meditation, or what Tony Robbins calls, ‘priming’. Priming is the act of adjusting your emotional state – and it’s as easy as sitting, breathing and visualizing. First, be grateful for what you have. Then, visualize what you want. Finally, celebrate. It’s a new day, and you are going to master it.

Another thing is reciting incantations. These are phrases that you chant aloud.  Yes, they have to be done out loud! What we hear, is what we believe. It’s not just about the idea, it’s about how we feel.  What will your incantations be?
