How we treat ourselves, believe it or not, is connected with our confidence, our ability to trust ourselves, self-esteem, personal power, feeling good about ourselves and making good decisions. In order to be on top of our game, we need to treat ourselves with more understanding and acceptance. Be mindful of what your body is feeling and instead of ignoring it relent. be NICE. Yawning? Instead of pushing yourself to finish that last page of the report, go to bed, get up in the morning early and finish it then, with a clear and fresh mind. You will not only produce a better paper, but your body will thank you for giving it the rest it needed.
This week, concentrate on the little things that make you feel good, like, taking a hot bath with mineral salts…allow your muscles some much needed time to unwind. Hate baths? How about a hot shower with an herbal sachet to release aromatherapy to cleanse the mind and relax your body. ONE thing a day… just for you. Start your morning coffee with some music instead of social media surfing, write down a list of ideas that you would like to accomplish for the week or just for the day.
